Alabama vs. Washington Score Prediction: Alabama 37, Washington 24
It’s playoff time!
Alabama is getting set to take on Washington in the College Football Playoff Semifinal game with a trip to the national championship on the line. The Crimson Tide (13-0, 8-0 SEC) put together another dominant effort in the SEC title game as they defeated Florida 54-16. The Tide scored 33 points in the first half against UF, becoming the first team to score 30 or more against the Gators in a half since 2000.
Meanwhile, the Washington Huskies (12-1, 8-1 Pac-12) were able to get into the CFP after claiming the Pac-12 crown with a win over Colorado. The win gave the Huskies their first conference title since 2000, and they did it despite an off game from quarterback Jake Browning. Browning is the most important player in this game for the Huskies and his play may dictate more than any other whether or not Washington has a shot to upset the Crimson Tide. When he’s been off his game the Huskies have had to lean heavily on their running game. That works just fine in the Pac-12. It will not versus Alabama. Browning has to play well or this will end poorly for the Huskies.
Our Peach Bowl score prediction is in favor of Alabama, with a final score of 37-24.
